The Challenge
Atoms Escape Room
Student Background:
Students will need to have an understanding of protons, neutrons, and electrons. They will need to know their location and charge and be able to identify valence electrons on a Bohr model or an element symbol.
Required Materials:
- All printed materials (included)
- Manila or regular envelopes
- Small mirror or reflective surface (cell phone camera would work also)
- Brads (paper fastener) for one of the decoder rings
Optional Materials (links provided):
- One Lockout Hasp
- Four, 4-digit locks
- One, 3-digit lock
- One storage box that includes a place for the lockout hasp
