    No locks and other expensive materials are required to run the escape room. For a more authentic experience, locks and boxes can be integrated into the activities.

  • Modular Design

    Unlike many escape rooms, the teacher is in total control of which of the 8 puzzles they want to use and in which order to use them. Each puzzle is independent of the others. Great for differentiation.

  • Student-Centered

    The escape rooms are designed to be 100% student-led. Sit back and watch students demonstrate mastery of your science curriculum. Students will also develop soft skills such as troubleshooting, logical thinking, and teamwork.

Plate Tectonics and Continental Drift Escape Room

Student Background:
 The plate tectonics escape room is an immersive experience for your students. It allows them to demonstrate their knowledge plate tectonics and Wegener's continental drift theory in a fun and engaging way.

Required Materials:
- All printed materials (included)
- Manila envelopes (used for each of the puzzles)
- Paper towel tube
- Clear transparency
- Glue or double-sided tape

Optional Materials (links provided):
- One Lockout Hasp
- Three, 4-digit locks
- Two, 3-digit locks
- One storage box that includes a place for the lockout hasp
- Scrabble tiles (printable ones included)
